How to Conquer Five Nights at Freddy’s

Are you eager to conquer the original Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) game? If so, this guide is tailor-made for you! This strategy is especially useful if you’re aiming to finish the game swiftly or if you’re simply frustrated with it.

Step 1: Preserve Your Power

While it might seem like a no-brainer, it’s crucial to emphasize that you should NOT waste power by constantly checking all the cameras. This is a common rookie mistake. In reality, you don’t need to monitor any camera except for Pirate’s Cove. Instead, focus on using the lights, which brings us to our next step.

Step 2: Monitor the Lights

Since you won’t be continuously checking the cameras to spot the animatronics, you must frequently inspect the lights. Toggle them on and off rapidly, alternating between the two. If you spot an animatronic at a door, quickly close it. Wait until Chica is no longer visible in the window and you can’t see Bonnie’s shadow before reopening the door. If the light switch or the door fails to respond, congratulations – an animatronic is in your room and will jump scare you when you lower your camera. If you’re at 5 AM, you have a slim chance of surviving. Just avoid looking at the camera and hope that Foxy doesn’t come after you. If Freddy is in the room, carry on as usual, as his jump scare timing is randomized, allowing you to survive for extended periods with him present.

Step 3: Keep an Eye on Pirate’s Cove

Following your light checks and ensuring no animatronics are lurking, it’s essential to inspect Pirate’s Cove, where Foxy resides. Ideally, you want the curtain to be closed. If you spot Foxy in the camera or the curtain is closed, you’re in good shape – that’s what you want. If Foxy has left his curtain, and you hear loud thudding noises, quickly exit the camera and shut the left door. This step is of utmost importance. You’ll hear a couple of sharp metallic thuds on the door, followed by silence. When it’s quiet, use the light and open the door (unless Bonnie is present). Foxy should reset to Pirate’s Cove, and you can resume your regular routine.

Step 4: Rely on Auditory Cues

Five Nights at Freddy’s provides several auditory cues that can be immensely helpful in determining which animatronics are approaching. Pay close attention to the game’s ambiance, as it can convey crucial information. At this stage, it’s advisable to mute the phone calls to reduce distractions.
